Then as you see, some roles matter upon being killed. Their visit is submitted into the game mechanics. Lynching the only vegging person with more than half of town votes keeps the game ranked despite glitches with gov, hunter and other roles that launch a meeting upon lynch. The lynch is agreed upon all living players.
It's quite different with night kills. Let's skip the fact that it's picked only by players capable of killing. If you suppose some meetings of the vegged person don't affect gameplay, you're wrong. Each role meeting does so.
Let's start from minor things: oracles, item givers, crystal owners - obvious thing. These would burden the town chances of winning just because of vegging, it would be more unfair for town members if vegging orc/GS was N1'd.
Investigative roles: cops, watchers, etc. - journalist/pathologist will out reports from dead people. If those vegged, who would find the reports?
Visiting roles: almost every pr role. Their visit may affect by disturbing dreamer/slasher/santa or giving tracker/watcher/priest a useful report.
The rest are very few roles that can only end the meeting at night: templars, jailers, roles visiting dead. Contrary to appearances, they also affect the gameplay. Suiting a kill, janning or simply playing a non-reveal setup, popping out a message about vegged pr would ruin the gameplay, informing living players that the dead was a pr. Hiding the veg message? It wouldn't confuse players who realize that the night ended on autokicks. It could lead mafia to try wifoming killing a vegging pr, hammering in the last second. It could provide another veg from the maf upon failed attempt, which we wouldn't like to happen.
We know there are certain setups where certain pr roles don't affect the gameplay when being killed such as cop/doc in Fancy Pants, but implementing something like this to all the setups is impossible, so even if lucid wanted to solve this issue (which we clearly doubt), it won't be done.

there can be killer who kills someone else(which can be a doc save if the doc doesn't veg)
