funniest thing to come out of nk situation is the us saying is not ok to use nukes to scare japan

That's literally ridiculous, the Chinese are furious that Kim Jong Un isn't deferring to Chinese interests. You can tell because their state media has been dissing North Korea and they actually implemented seafood sanctions against North Korea to their own detriment.
North Korea is obviously a puppet state of China. They're lashing out due to the recent trade agreements that the USA made.

We will likely start the war, sooner or later. We couldn't even stay out of Iraq, and they didn't actually have WMDs.
Also, you are vastly underestimating North Korea's military capability. America would win a war against the North Koreans, with 1,000,000+ dead Americans.
If you think the North Korea will start a war, you are being unnecesssarily worrisome and exaggarrating its capabilities. North Korea's military technology s definitely not modern and not even up to par with South Korea and the US military technology. They still have Soviet technology. The chance of them starting a war is zero. They get these as deterrents of attack from more powerful countries. They know that attacking would result in their country being annihilated but having these nukes and firing these missiles makes a more powerful country think twice about invading NorthKorea. Stop worrying about North Korea

North Korea has tested an H bomb and launched a missile over sovereign airspace this year. That's a little more than what they do every year.
South Korea can't care, because the fact of the matter is the North can vaporize 10,000,000 people in Seoul whenever they feel like it, and they simply live with that.
The idea that the North Korea situation will never reach a head because it hasn't since the 50s is foolish. While they won't nuke anyone, conventional warfare with North Korea is downright inevitable.
North Korea does this every year. North Korea will not do cause they know if they do they will lose. South Korea does not give a and is not panicking cause they know they do this every year. USA needs to stick with tougher sanctions and eventually not give in to North Koreas conditional requests
The idea of North Korea actually nuking the US or a US ally is laughable, there are at least 2 nuclear submarines loaded with hundreds of nukes each directly off of the coast of NK.
He could end a US city or send us to the stone age, but we could turn North Korea into a glass Pompeii.
Can you imagine being Japanese and your grandma died in Hiroshima and you get an emergency text message telling you to run for cover because North Korea has a nuclear missile in Japanese air space?
Conventional warfare is only likely because Trump has small p.enis syndrome. I think if we left North Korea alone, the Chinese would eventually replace the Kims with a government they can control. Kim Jong Un has not played their diplomacy game, and Chinese state media is openly unhappy about it.

We've tested missile interception five times. One succeeded, four failed.
He isn't going to nuke anyone though, ever. He views the nukes as his guarantee of safety. Conventional warfare is far more likely, and conventional warfare with North Korea would be the bloodiest conflict in history.
What about if NK sends nukes over to the United States, We can intercept it using a suicide jet, so it doesnt explode over our territory, but it explodes over the Pacific instead?
Just steal all the nukes from everybody and send them into outer space. gg

If I were the US president I'd trade land in the South China Sea to the Chinese for the death of Kim Jong Un with a replacement chosen by China. They'd probably love that deal. Japan and SK wouldn't be happy with it, but hey, they probably aren't happy having nukes fly over their airspace either.
A. Conventional warfare, casualties likely number in the millions, either because Trump is sick of being called a chicken or because he needs a war to distract from the Russia investigation.
B. We do nothing, assuming mutually assured destruction will deter the Kim regime from aggression, which is probably correct. Eventually, China will probably "resolve" the problem in the same way we'd "resolve" the problem if a Mexican dictator were testing H bombs. The Chinese desire stability, their game plan is economic imperialism. While they would prefer the Kim Regime to a US military presence on their border, I'd think they'd much prefer a Chinese puppet state to the Kims at this point.
