At home, I am a part time song writer (admit it, you did it too)

I also got hit up about 2 weeks ago by the user named Disguiser (verumbark), who is a talented young music writer as well.

I wrote this song on Tuesday Night in about 30 minutes.

Tonight I put it on pastebin (on mobile, so expect inconsistencies for grammar and spelling)

I just want to know your thoughts about this:

most people write to the music. you can make music to match the words but from what i imagine it would be a lot harder. i think townes and probably leonard cohen and people like that did it but they had really strong messages to convey

Also I want to know which musical category it should belong in.

Again, I will post other songs as well, so I am trying to be as consistent as I can on the genre of new rock (basically known as indie)/pop.
