I'm noticing a lot that sour grapes is a popular trend among victim groups, such as MGTOW, fatties, gay poc, trans etc. They'll sit there and whine that conventionally attractive people won't date them.

MGTOW: Woman are nothing but manipulative s1uts, so I'm going to have hobbies and do interesting things. You know things I should be doing anyway. Let's ignore most people are in relationships, those are just chads. The problem isn't with me it's with an entire sex.

Fatties: Men are just to insecure to date me, I'm a perfectly healthy weight and love myself.

Gay poc: white gay men are racist for not dating people of color. Instead of just shrugging my shoulders and dating people that want to date me, I'd rather be upset that racists won't date me.

Trans: I have a very controversial condition and I don't have the standard genetalia for what I identify as. Instead of sticking to the light community or being forward with my trans status. I'd rather lie and manipulate someone into bed or relationships. Any guy who isn't ok with the surprise is just a bigot, let's just ignore his cultural attitudes, religion or wanting to have kids.

also, they threaten my masculinity. if other people are questioning their perception of gender and gender roles, it might make me think about my own perception of gender and that isnt good

where did you get the statistic from to claim that most do that?

where in said statistic is their reasoning for doing so cited?


By "most" I was referring to the trans women I've interacted with personally or seen in the community. Dating apps specifically are rly dangerous for trans women so the trans women I know tend to just list their trans status on their profiles, to avoid further issue. Although, trans women shouldn't have to fear getting killed for not outing their trans status to their partner(s).
