this is largely because a huge portion of american society bullies/rejects them.

there is no evidence for this. if the overall suicide attempt is 3% in the US, do you really think bullying is causing a 10X+ increase in suicide attempts. again, ive already said this, but there have already been studies that suggest suicide rates and whether or not you get recognition as transgender are two complete independent things

plus there are studies that suggest suicide isnt from bullying.

the mental illness itself, transgenderism, probably is linked to inherent suicidal thoughts

transgenderism really is a mental illness.

41% of people who identify as transgender have attempted suicide. dont blame bullying or society or whatever. 36% of those who have never identified as transgender still attempt suicide.

the only real social construct here is not gender, but the idea that biological sex and gender are separate of one another.

I feel like you are trying to straw man but aren't very good at it. If you have any type of medical condition that the other party has to adapt to, you should disclose it before emotions/sex are a factor.
