The second best movie with the second best actor. You've got to admire the consistency.

he was pretty annoying. i mean, i get the point of him being annoying is that he's a clingy teenager looking for approval, but i really just could not get into him as much as the other two.
granted, i had to bail halfway tbrough the movie, so take that w/a grain of salt lmao
??????? it's literally the best movie. marvel did comic spidey perfectly. the other two looked nothing like how an 'annoying teenager' should

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking I like maguire as peter Parker but not too much as Spider-Man and I liked Garfield as Spider-Man but not peter Parker
Tom holland feels like he does both so well though
ya I like when he beats up the bad guys and the girl who does the swag it out makes the funny jokes and when the spider silk shoots out his arm it's finally realistic now
are u okay

i'll watch a spidey feature when it's him vs wilson fisk
like error said he wants to see spiderman versus wilson fisk. i don’t think tobey’s spiderman would be able to stop wilson fisk. wilson fisk is a crime boss, he’s not a big bad villain that goes destroying things and spiderman needs to physically fight him to stop him. wilson fisk doesn’t even do any of the crime himself because he’s the boss. and tobey’s spiderman would probably never pursue the criminals he takes down or look into who is behind them. he’s too satisfied with just beating up the bad guys he sees. tom’s spiderman sees the weapons vulture is selling, and he knows its not enough to just stop the goons right there with those specific weapons, he knows he needs to find out where they are coming from and stop them. so they both capture spiderman pretty well but its the subtle differences where u notice that tom captures far more of the character than any actor so far. from the big stuff to the little stuff.
in the comics spiderman denied being in the avengers to stay a ground level hero and help the citizens directly. i cant see tobey maguire's spiderman doing that as much as tom's. tobeys maguires spiderman although he had the scene where uncle ben said “with great power comes great responsibility” lacked the showing of it. every villain who showed up in spiderman 1 - 3, peter would happen to be around when the super villain showed up for the first time. but once they left he would leave it at that. he wouldn’t follow them or track them down. obeys spiderman was more of a “stop what ur doing” spiderman, and then the villain wouldn’t show up again until they had to kidnap mary jane in order to lure him and he needed to save her with the exception of sandman who spiderman had a personal grudge against cause of the uncle ben thing. and even then he didn’t track down sandman cause it was his responsibility to do the right thing but because he was angry and wanted revenge. the vulture never actually endangered anyone tom’s peter cares about. he never tried to lure him into a trap or anything. in fact he just wanted spiderman to go away so he can continue on with his business, he didn’t want to fight he wanted to stay low profile. but tom’s peter knew he had to stop vulture. he knew even if he stays hidden he needs to track him down, because he knows about it and since he knows its his responsibility to stop it. tobey matures spiderman never tracked anybody down. thats why tom holland is my favorite spiderman, because he captures the ENTIRE character, while andrew captures barely any and while tobey captures more of both sides, he also misses pieces of the character.
my favorite spiderman/peter parker is tom holland. tom holland greatly captured the entire character. andrew garfield was like a spiderman who never took off the mask. even when he was peter parker he still acted like spiderman, sarcastic and jokey. but peter parker doesnt have the confidence he has with the mask, so he is supposed to be less outgoing and less confident in his life when he isn't beating bad guys up. so andrew garfield only captured the spiderman side of the character. tobey maguire was a better peter parker than andrew garfield in the first 2 spidermans. he captured the less confident side of parker with things like when he had to deal with j jonah jameson or mj or harry. but he also managed to do a good job of capturing the spiderman side as well, he got more cocky under the mask and had a few quips here and there. he also had the compassion like when he talked octo octavius into shutting down the fake sun machine. so i think it was only andrew garfields spiderman that came up like a coin with both sides being heads. so tom holland and tobey maguire both captured the character good, from there its mostly preference on the little details.
