I liked Heath Ledger, I think he did The Joker the best it has ever been done and perhaps the best it will ever be done.

I didn't care for much of it besides that. It was trying to be a summer blockbuster and it did a good job of that.

I really dug Batman Returns specifically though. Everyone goes horribly wrong for Batman, and it ends with Alfred reminding him that it is Christmas day, something that both the viewer and Bruce had long since forgotten.

I thought it was more artistic. It was trying to convey a message.
