and cub people dont choose to be harassed and made uncomfortable every day, to be constantly judged by strangers who think they can determine the validity of you as a person, to have to go through these "debates" defending their own basic rights, even to be thrown out of their homes as children, just for the sake of a trend. people dont "choose" or "pretend" to be trans because its cool. people ARE trans, and because of that, they have to face stuff like this from people like you and worse

bc you have to for an event? its not safe to come out? it just looks good on you and youre secure enough in your identity that you can wear it without feeling dysphoric? girls can have short hair, boys can wear dresses, people in general can look however they want, and its not societys (edit: or anyones) place to tell them theyre not feminine/masculine/androgynous enough to "count" as their gender
