Foxie and I were having a... "debate" over terraria again and i want to appeal to the masses

There is a teleporter that connected to 4 locations: one directly east and west, and two below (one higher, one lower). There are 4 switches that are pressed to tell the teleporter where to go. The location of the switches is indicated in the picture.

Now please refer to the poll. I'm not saying who's layout is which to avoid any bias.

Which layout of switches makes more logical sense for nagivation?

but there's still a feeling of inaccuracy because you obviously teleport downward

when your workspace is a ~5x5 wall, you make it as accurate as possible, and this is as accurate as possible

the teleporter itself and surface dungeon teleporter both merge when you get that small so thats why theres only 4 dots

yes but the east and west switches are consistent across all teleporters in being that they bring the user to the next surface teleporter in that direction

in fact the tundra teleporter is almost perfectly centered between this teleporter and the surface dungeon location

it's a single teleporter up isntead of multiple vertical locations. If there were two things above one of those two, I would orient them both up and then relative left or right


the thing is

the dungeon teleporters arent both underground, one is surface level just like every other teleporter


they are both relative negative to the teleporter's location


so is the tundra teleporter

it's actually lower than this one

since you are an INTP i believe you would place your image as the left side therefore i am going to pick the opposite as cub is usually right about these sorts of things
