Lyncher can't win anymore , so he gets a new win condition. Which is more harder , and actually can be a problem for town/mafia because he can side with either of them just by surviving.

As I said before, good role but the person the assassin targets needs to be notified he has an assassin on him or it will be completely broken if they are detective roles (1/3 of all role population)
Survivor has to be one of the last players alive at the end.
His only win condition is to survive till the end. Then he wins with Mafia or Town, or whoever else wins. But for Survivor win condition, they have to be alive at that point.
This role has no competitive merit and it'd only p1ss people off in sandbox. It's as unfun to play as lyncher and unfortunate to play against as a clockmaker win.
I'll tell you how the possibilities of this role will go:
1. Assassin gets gun day 1 or two, shoots target. No one has fun, they win.
What happens once Assasin loses? if his target is killed by someone else or lynched?
Just doesn't win? Does it turn like a survivor like the lyncher?
lyncher doesnt become a survivor
if you mean wins at reduced points for living, that applies to all 3rds in ranked i think
I really suggest the role to be able to stop killing if their target gets lynched/killed. That seems like the only logical option to make the role more balanced.
balanced? after it effectively loses? at least give it the opportunity to defend itself to the endgame for reduced points
if you wanted to suggest it become vivor, you should make a separate thread based on that rule so it's consistently applied to all 3rds after permanently failing their win condition (cupid and lyncher for example)

We can assume , Assassin is a night variant of the lyncher actually. While Lyncher needs to win during the day, the Assassin needs to win during the night.
If they can kill, how can we stop every game that has an assasin to end d1?
what?
assassin gets the role of their target not their target's name, so what exactly is making every game end n1 besides impossible luck that could be argued about cg, cm, etc.?
Which means Assasin as a role, can only be played in 1 setup. I doubt lucid will even try implementing something that can be added to only 1 kind of setup.
