the anti missile system is not 100% accurate, it will take a lot to take out 1 nuke, let alone 30. and their (((nuclear program))) is nothing to joke about just yet, most of their missiles have 20 mile accuracy
i imagine a large political reason for NK even still existing is china wanting NK's land if it dissolved while the US would probably want SK to get it.
anti missle systems exist for a reason. not to downplay the "they have nukes, theyre mad men!" scenario but it's not like we're incapable of dealing with everything they have.
hell, id even be surprised if they can launch a missile successfully at someone with how infiltrated and sabotaged their systems are on a daily basis.
i know and realise that, but the fact is that they will go and kamikaze attack all the surrounding nations with nukes when they realise that their country is going to be captured.
its sort of a what do you want more -win over a country with no resources that would make it profitable to take over with a few cities nuked and millions of deaths or -let them be but then they would keep developing their nuclear program, of which even Israel has said they are developing it really fast and they might start to be a threat
its the dumbest thing, going to war with DPRK, if they are attacked they are gonna go kamikaze attack and just nuke the heck outta anyone within their reach. also dont think you are safe, DPRK can launch nukes off submarines and boats (the ones they have are really quiet and hard to detect). the only way to win, is through china (their only ally), and starving the population of resources, although that takes a long time
