The little blue thing near the front of the handle is just some tape that I haven't bothered to take out yet. I taped up the blade to avoid scratching or marring it when I was shaping the handle with a few grinders.

Speaking of knives, I took a woodworking class and made one the other day.



I started with the metal blade and two blocks of wood.

The handle is incredibly smooth, I'm very happy with how it turned out.
