Hey everyone! This is Powerofdeath here! Karthikbk and I decided to try a little bit of an experiment! We decided what it would be like if we switched account for Tribevivor and Big Brother. We wanted to know whats the difference in playing as someone else. How we would play, and how other people treat you differently. Etc.
We switched accounts for itxLuca's tribevivor and Alec's Big Brother.
The result was that Karthikbk as "PoD" got 16th in tribevivor and I got 12th as "Karth"
Then I got 12th again as "Karth" in Big Brother and Karthikbk got 5th as "PoD"
In tribevivor, Tillie pulled an amazing blindside on "Powerofdeath" It was cool.
I got voted out by not being able to achieve majority in a tribe swap of 7 with 4 people from an original tribe achieving majority.
In Big Brother, I think I kinda got screwed over with the whole successfully backdooring Voice then host vegging/redoing the whole thing. It led to my demise with Bryce evicting me with a sole vote it was a weird Clique Twist.
Karthikbk as "PoD" managed to survive til merge, and eventually got evicted by HardCarry in 1-1 tie vote.
Real Karthikbk: Alright, thanks to pod for coming up with this idea. Honestly, it was the worst feeling I have ever had in a survivor game, coz like right from the word go all the allies I had, wanted me out.Every single thing I told was leaked to everyone and I got voted out p soon.However, in the BB game next day, I felt it was a lot more different and it was interesting to have people like Voice talk strat with me which generally doesn't happen as Karth.Overall, it was a really fun and a terrifying experience to play as PoD
Real Powerofdeath: My whole experience was interesting. When I first entered the tribevivor, I had Chanman whispering me the first 10 minutes saying "POD is really SNEAKY" "We need to get him out ASAP" (Love you though chanman <3) I realized how people just randomly targeted me due to meta. I was trying to get along with people that don't actually get along with Karth(like Stiffy) so it felt awkward. Also people who really know Karth well, it was awkward trying to pretend that I really like them too.
One thing I noticed playing as Karth, is that it's actually very difficult to flip people. People don't see you as a threat and when you try to get things your way, people would straight up say NO and try to tell me that they want things their way. Like on PoD, I would tell them "HEY can we vote out X? He is going to win!" They would listen or ignore me. They would almost never argue back. On Karthikbk, a lot of people argued back and try to explain why I am wrong and that things should go THEIR way. I thought that was interesting. Also I feel like that once people want to target me as Karthikbk, I usually have no way to make a comeback whereas on PoD, I can easily flip people, or go to different people and throw other people under the bus. I was pretty much screwed once people targeted me as Karthikbk. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience playing this and watching Karthikbk play as PoD. It was fun.
