So i recently got tired of Town of Salem due to how cancer it is at times. Heard about EM and decided to try it out. Love the idea and most of the things about it BUT the majority of players are a different type of cancer but still not as bad a ToS, making my experience so far horrible. So the problem is that most of these players done played so long that they "know" how town and mafia plays. If i make take one step off the book of how they think everyone plays and should play then im screwed, town or not. It feels like there is no room at all for playing differently than others. The game is TO THE TEETH. I literally raged multiple times in the two days i played it (ive been no lifing at this game kinda) because nobody doesnt listen to me. At first i was confused at to why, then i picked up on the fact it was because of my stats. People will constantly point at how many games i had and disregard me. A friend i mad on there said they probably think im a troll account. Ok, fair enough. Played the crap out of it and now got up to 500 points. I notice i get a little credit now, but now it's come to still being disregarded when a person with coloured text disregards me. It's insane! And i notice no-avi players get this same deal too! Town or not town, im guilty. The moment im put up, im dead. But when coloured text is put up, full discussion and possible nl. I now appreciate ToS a bit more, because people dont base crap off your stats (but they will your skin, and if you have a skin on their, THEY WILL LYNCH YOU so it's reversed on there) as well as more anonymity. Im still playing it because atleast i know I'll get my stats up enough to be pretty much how adults look at little kids as far as thought processes go. Other than that really infuriating thing about the players and not being any room for playing differently and closed-mindedness based on stats and coloured text, i love it.
