why is jfk allowed in comp that doesn't make any sense as there are min logic used in it / also i suggest ww templar setup for once it has team work and great multi strat and has 3rd party in it! pleasssseeeee
Most of the 3rd-party roles are not allowed in comp because they create grounds to manipulate points, where the 3rd-party might choose who they want to win with as well as certain backstabs because joint wins give less points.
- Fool and lyncher might choose town win or their own win which favors for mafia. - Survivor, rival and nomad can also choose who they want to win with. - Politician can choose who wins as well by manipulating the game. - Cupid, angel and lover look like a lucky based role giving a favor to the target, but can also choose the winning alignment if on town, just by leaving the target alive. - Cult and zombie give the winning points depending on who they're converting. - Prophet is not comp worthy and also can pick joints. - Killer, clockmaker, anarchist and gambler have individual win condition, getting N1'd is autoloss for them. Also joints with maf or backstabs to get more points. - Warlock and alien have also ways to joint or get backstabbed.
- Monk, siren and autocrat are legit roles if the game doesn't start with night actions, N1'ing them for their autoloss. But they need to win frequently enough to balance the game. - Werewolves, mistletoe, cthulhu setups can be comp'd if they replace the mafia as a team. - Mastermind setups can be comp'd as the mastermind can influence the N1 kill, if it's balanced, of course. - Amnesiac setups are legit if they are forced to pick an alignment rather than choosing the one and they don't face autoloss N1. - Traitor is mafia-sided so legit. - Sidekick with another 3rd-party role is legit if they fix the balance.
Just don't add masons to abuse conversion to change alignments, unless it might somehow force 3rd-party to side with town.

you should make one round where we have all 3rd party set ups please :)
are they allowed to be comped during non Xmas time ?
There's no rule about this. It's sometimes stated that during the event trophy winners must comp one setup with certain role, but never that mustn't. It just needs to be balanced (yeah EIBG shouldn't be comp'd), 7-10 players and no joints.
