Hello everyone! EM Idol is back by popular demand! (or popular enough anyway) and it has tokens involved! (*le gasp!)

First place gets 80 tokens ; Second place gets 40 tokens ; Third place gets 20 tokens

Twist: A dance that was inspired by rock and roll music and what you should be doing with all these great entries and talent this season.

Speech/Intro Hello Everyone! So this is it, we've come to the end of this season of EpicMafia Idol. First of all I would like to thank everyone who showed interest and got me to start this up again in the first place and most of that comes from the contestants this season!

This would be nothing if it weren't for the very talented contestants sharing their time and vocals week after week. It has been incredible and a real honour to hear your voices and gave me something to look forward to. I know it wasn't perfect but I hope you still enjoyed your time in the competition no matter how long or short (ahem volta).

Thank you also to the audience who also drive this event, it is always a pleasure to hear someone who didn't compete tell me that they enjoyed following the competition. I am glad people enjoy listening to the entries as much as I do.

Last but not least my judges of course, who were all brand-new to the judging game and though we lost some on the way, the rest did not lose steam and continued on with me anyway through the little rough patches and I am thankful for that.

Probably won't help me too much as I am down and out with strep throat but maybe with the one extra day a miracle will rain down and my throat will no longer feel like I'm swallowing knives while getting punched in the brain and run over by a bus

Gentle reminder to make sure that the original performer of the song (not composer or the one that made it famous) must be opposite of your gender

also it's due this Friday 11:59pm PST (or Saturday for some of you on the other side of the world)

So I just...have to ask. What parameters are you using for how to determine this? Does the original have to have been performed by someone of the other gender first? Because I'm not going to lie, a lot of these songs were made famous by people of both genders.

Clarification would be nice :)

Jazz is under uh, variation of R&B (technically it's the other way around but y'know)

If it's okay with verum... I won't be super strict with the genre this round. If it's sounds jazzy, I'll probably accept it even though it's not explicitly under jazz.

Note the round is a little bit shorter than before, I hope to keep it around this timeline as to minimize overlap with the summer months. Get started with those doo doobuehoduoau scat scat scat!
