I'm not saying anyone posting in this thread is a cheater because I could get in trouble for that, but if deep down I knew someone posting in this thread cheated and there was still irrefutable evidence that he cheated that you can find by a quick search of reports, this would be my message to him:
Amor responding for sweetkind. These mods think that mods are one team and rest of the users are one team. They have no idea that the mods and players belong to the same team.
The fact is that currently the mod team must have more vios, bans, and dics up their mouth than the entire community put together.

And edark stickied this thread. Instead of stickying important topics. One of his mod mates must have told him "pranay probably got a point"
Another must have replied "what do you mean probably? He is absolutely right"
3rd guy must have said " you have to stay with the team and agree with everything team does, even if you have to let a cheater trophy again and then when caught you have to retaliate unlike what a mod should do"
Then edark must have said "I'll sticky this thread"
So far we have two of the mod team who have already demonstrated why their opinions shouldn't be those taken into account when deciding which setups are featured
These things you have to let the game take its course. You do not have to try and influence such things. Just let the game evolve itself. Just look at the amazing setups people have come with. People went from playing classic mafia to complex setups. The community has evolved. None of us have the right to decide what setup someone else should play. So we follow the community and feature the popular setups that were played out for the competition.
Also as I said before, there are noobs who think it takes two hearts to play a featured setup. They don't know it means double points. You have to make an effort in educating the community about what is there and what they can make of it.
You should not impose your own opinion on others. You just have to give them information in unbiased manner.

Edark you clearly have no actual stake in caring about the integrity or the maintaining of competitive games (shown by the fact that I've never seen you take a competitive game seriously on all my accounts - including games where runners (not just me) have either dodged you or begged you to play seriously). Just give someone who actually cares about competitive Mafia e.g. Ssonseray pranay control over the featured setups.
And I don't mean the Gerry did I mean full control so that people who are out of touch with the competitive scene have no stake in it. Very few of the mods actually play competitive frequently and those who do I highly doubt are actually involved in this to any meaningful level
Edit - just looked at the mod team, you have two mods who actually play competitive Mafia at the moment - projectmatt and whitepimp. Why should the other mods who don't give a what happens to competitive or don't play it frequently have more of a say than the people working to create and improve the community?
There needs to be no discusion regarding what setup to feature. It is already working fine. What concerns me is admin wasting time and then saying they will decide whether a setup has potential or not. Then later he says that it won't be just him but his team of cheaters and horny teenagers who come here just to masturbate.
Go do some discussion regarding refunds of gold heart games which your mod team is still clueless about and refunds games based on whether it will help their friend or not.
