also I am going to say this: milo has a reputation for targeting specific students during his speeches at school, and putting them at risk. free speech is protected, but that doesn't mean people need to react to your speech nicely. it means they can protest as loudly as they want.
not gonna get into the property damage aspect of it because that's another topic, but being mad at a protest against a man who harassed students is funny
yeah he could still be progressive economically and such, but calling himself a progressive and then using a slang for trans people and mocking racial issues in the same post was really funny

these protests are awful, and I don't see anyone supporting them? what's going on I'm so confused
where am I supposed to hear this stuff except places like this where everyone's expected to already know it

also there's a scale it's not black-and-white, he could still be relatively progressive in many ways
but the post you quoted is still hilarious
and who said philosophy is just dead white men's opinions? rofl
[quote=Boo][quote=Halifax] I think that's a gross oversimplification of the entire election.
He won due to a number of factors.
He won because Hilary Clinton and the Democratic Party did not address the problems of Rust Belt America, who was really economically hurting, and tried to play it off as "Not a Problem."
He won because democrats couldn't unite because the DNC decided to throw Bernie Sanders, a truly revolutionary and inspiring candidate, under the bus for the "safe" establishment candidate that was old and stale.
He won because the left and the entire media kept telling Americans who they should and shouldn't vote for, and labeled anyone who might disagree with or have issue as simply "a dumb racist and sexist hick who just wasn't educated and was the scourge of society."
He won because people keep continuing the redthoric white people, including poor white trash people in West Virginia who can't afford dentist, sending their kids to school for a better life, and don't have jobs that could afford taxes that could pay for such social services that "they're priviledged and should be tolerant of illegal immigrants and globalization cuz "in the big picture" its good for everyone." Whatever stance you take on this, if you don't have empathy for these people or can't understand why they did this is probably part of the reason why people are shocked.
He won because the left wants to pretend some Islamic Cultures aren't backwards, and wants to pretend that there are indeed people out there who want to kill Westerners for being Westerners. They are tolerant of some islamic cultures that ironically would want to murder their very own liberal allies, like gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders atheist, other religious minorities, women who don't cover up etc.
just because i'm progressive / socialist-leaning doesn't make me an SJW
trannies and race clowns me off, trying to fill up academia with bulls.hit
"philosophy is just dead white men's opinions" they say and i want to punch them in the face but i hold myself back, remembering it's wrong to punch r.etards
Donald Trump is a fascist. I am not being dramatic, or using high rhetoric. I mean literally, consistent with the scholarly and academic use of the term 'fascism', Donald Trump and his campaign are a textbook example of a fascist insurgent movement.
The main reason most people can't tell Trump is fascist is because most people don't know what fascism is, so they won't know it when they see it.
Fascism became an insult, a boogeyman, something beyond the possibility of reality.
If you study the history of fascist regimes, Trump is following the same formula, objectively.
It's a shame people don't care about history. Now we're doomed to repeat it
Also I would be wary of using the word fascist to describe Donald Trump. Most people don't actually know what fascism means and just think of it as a "bad word". It's the left's fault for undermining the power of the word since they tend to use it as a general insult to anyone they don't like instead of using it to describe a person's political ideology. The right pretty much did the same thing with communism.

TL;DR: losers lost and cry about it @Leftists
I love how SJWs lost so hard and rather than reflect and improve themselves and ideology, they continue use the same strategy that lost them all three branches of Government. LMFAO
actually, trump's victory was a mixture of luck and deliberate misinformation.
when US troops were deployed to afghanistan, what they found was that the enemy troops would frequently blend themselves among civilians and hold women and children hostage to avoid direct combat.
now i don't blame them for using such strategy...especially knowing they can't take on the us military directly. it would be irresponsible not to.
trump's campaign used similar "evasive tactics" like fake news articles of the pope endorsing trump?? protester was a member of ISIS?? when confronted with this issue, trump said "i just know whats on the internet"
yes, not all fake news sources are politically motivated. some just wanted the easy ad-revenue. (i think a good handful of trump supporters will believe anything that puts hillary in a negative light)
again, i don't really blame trump. he recognized what worked and what didnt for his party. and if spreading hoax-media was a way to unite his supporters, then fine
but i think its justified that people are salty about it.
when the trump supporters would riot, they would be branded as "terrorists" or "violent far right fascists" but when the left do it its "heroic" and "standing up for their beliefs"
