Lucid dumped the old icons so he could add new roles and didn't want people to make 3 versions of each I'm pretty sure. That or it was glitchy.

You /could/ PM him asking to bring them back and offer to bring new icon art for the new roles if you want though

i love all the new icons. each character has more personality about themselves. i like that they all pop-out. people are getting offended about the bright colours but tbh it's because they all have dark dark souls

The main criticism I've gotten so far has to do with the brightness and the saturation being too high, which effects the way the hair colour is perceived. Maybe I need to tone it back a bit.

I would give it time though. If you were to flip back to the old icons a week from now, they would look overly dark, unsaturated, and indistinct.

I've been using icons with this level of brightness and saturation for nearly a year now.

I can see the complaints but they don't bother me because they're just icons
