FireDragonPrince has also won the supervillain challenge again, and no one was able to stop him... the houseguests are in for another grueling punishment.
Just a friendly reminder that it's only a backdoor if the renom was the target from the moment that the HOH was crowned that week. Unless JTTC was planning to evict Ciere the whole time, he wouldn't be considered a backdoor victim, whether he got evicted or not.
Have a nice day.
Close. It doesn't have to be from the moment the HOH was crowned, but rather that he was the target in mind when the nomination set was made.
i'm pretty sure the textbook definition of a backdoor is if your target doesn't play in POV and pawn is taken down with POV and target is renominated
well yeah, that goes with what i was saying. i figured they already understood that part lol
i didn't think he did know but yeah didn't mean to @ u with him i knew u knew

I understand where you're coming from with this, I really do, but the problem with continuing to use this definition is too noticeable to be ignored. When Nakomis came up with her "Six-Fingered Plan" is BB5, she and her allies were able to decide all six of the players in the POV competition, thus ensuring that the backdoor target would be totally unable to defend him or herself. Nowadays, it is impossible to completely control who plays in POV, due to the POV players being selected at random by the HOH and nominees. I feel that this patch to the rules should also come with an amendment to what defines a play as a "backdoor" or not. I strongly believe that if the backdoor target plays in POV, but loses, he or she can still be considered a backdoor victim.
you cannot be a victim to a backdoor if you play in POV because you were given a chance to save yourself
