Welcome to Story Quest II, a quest that is a story that is a quest. This time we follow the adventures of Sammy the Slime, an actual slime monster.


Sammy is impressionable and allows you to guide her through her journey to meet the king through renewable H&H games, selecting the last remaining option.

C​urrently, she is in the Leafy Woods, a nice gentle place teeming with slimes and animals and joy. What's the plan?

Magic spells

Sammy knows the following magic spells, picked up in her adventures...

  • "Blossom" ~ learned from a dryad, this spell causes nature and probably other things to quickly grow

since im also working on an actual interactive novel where you play as a slime, ive had to figure out some reasonable way to describe a slime's state of health

the properties i have presently would be used in this story should the situation arise; namely, your health is represented by how much ooze you have left and sharp attacks are less effective at displacing ooze while blunt attacks can knock a bunch of you away at once (kind of the opposite of a solid creature). also you can regenerate by means of liquid like when it rains

I've enough experience to know that the last thing you ever want to do is pick a fight with a cult

Also cub I hope sammy doesn't have plot armor, else we can always pick the most dangerous option with no real repercussions.

Without thinking too deeply about the repercussions (because she's a slime), Sammy excitedly casts her new blossom spell in the direction of the chanting to see what happens!

At first the vegetation becomes unruly, but then she feels the earth start to shake... more... and more...

Suddenly, giant cultists appear before Sammy! It's hard to tell whether they're angry, happy, confused, or anything else since their faces are obscured by hoods and night provides little lighting.

After learning a new spell, Sammy the Slime feels entitled to a nap and sleeps the day away. It's late into the night by the time she awakens and the woods have gotten spooky.

There's the sound of chanting in the distance...

Sammy watches and studies the dryad's movements. After a while, it performs a magic spell which Sammy learns to imitate!

Sammy now knows "blossom"!

The spell causes the patchy ground around the dryad's tree to suddenly fill up with flowers and tall bushy grass. Afterwards, she disappears into her tree...

Sammy the Slime decides to explore the woods, possibly in search of friends or free stuff lying around.

After a long and uneventful journey through the maze of trees, Sammy encounters a dryad! Dryads are wonderful tree spirits with lots of magics and nature-related goodies. The dryad hasn't noticed her yet, what does she do?
