Communism is good and will be what our society becomes after enough progress has been made.
Until then we suffer under a capitalistic rule.
There have been false rulings of communism through authoritarian figures. Do not trust them.
When we do dump capitalism remember this topic, comrades.
Note: I am not an apologist for any communist leaders. Genocide is wrong, kiddos.

But according to the backlash, that day is not today. Which is fine, the world isn't ready to be better yet, only through time and effort will we reach that.

You know I can understand if people don't read over a large opening post, but god damn was my opening post small. "There have been false rulings of communism through authoritarian figures. Do not trust them."
One day we will reach a form of communism that benefits the majority of people in society, not the minority in charge.
better dead than red. actually, better dead in general

Not agreeing, but dependdent on no one disagreeing
The point of every position people take is trying to rally more people to their cause. Everyone wants other people to agree with them but do rely on opposition for that idea to grow
its common knowledge that hybrid systems are the most practical in the modern world as evidenced by pretty much every first world country using a hybrid system
absolute democracy is also terrible because most people arent educated on everything in the world, that's why we have republic democracy where we elect representatives based on how much we believe they know since specializing produces optimal outcome and they specialize in specific political matters
"true socialism" means nobody can earn anything therefore because luxuries are limited luxuries cannot be afforded. it's impossible to give everyone a mansion
Fair accumulation and distribution of wealth is more favorable than true capitalism

Thanks for explaining the pros and cons to other people for me, cub.

There is enough goods to send more than enough relief to starving people, but the accumulation of wealth prevents that, so it is definitely said easier than done
Although communism only works if everyone is on board, which is not simply viable with the amount of diverse ways of thinking that exists. I do not hope to bring anyone from em to the cause, but simply say there is a possible hopeful future if we can sway human thinking to caring about the greater good
the ideal system is regulated communism that evenly distributes all surplus resources
for example, the extremely wealthy pay more taxes in proportion to their wealth. they still make more money, but taxing prevents this accumulated wealth from investing in itself rather than in society. otherwise everything would be monopolized as wealth increases wealth to the point there's no competition and you end up with an effective monarch over certain markets
resources everyone would be granted by default would be food like bread and water, but century-old fermented wine isn't divisible by the world population. it would be sold, not given.
running water and a place to live should be afforded to everyone, but not everyone can have their own mansion. you need to earn that because there simply aren't enough mansions or enough space in the world for billions of them.
capitalism allows you to choose what luxuries you have on top of the necessities you're granted, because luxuries aren't unlimited
