Hey there everyone. What with the site being updated and fixed a lot recently, I thought I'd do my bit and take some of the heat off dear ol' Phil.

It's no secret that role descriptions in the learn tab aren't exactly 100% accurate and certain roles could definitely use being updated with some useful interactions. Since moderators can edit role text, I'm gonna go through and fix some of the most obvious problems.

However, I'm just one person and I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable about EM mechanics as some users, thus I have created this thread.


In this thread I ask the community to suggest improvements for role text and I will edit them in (for some edits I may ask for proof, such as interactions between roles).


Hopefully we can create a much more cohesive and easy to understand learn page for the newbies and older players alike!

Masoning a killer kills the killer not the mason, not sure if this is a bug or intentional

Mimic should specific hostile third and non hostile 3rd interactions

tree can be converted by cyborg- not sure if bug or intentional

cthulhu - madness can be cured by role conversion

trapper + septor - reveals role to subsequent visitors

If the Bride proposes to you but you have a lover (or heartbreaker? I'm not sure though, I'll test today) then it gives you a system message along the lines of "You cannot accept the proposal, you are already in love."


Report back once it's tested and I'll amend it all.

Drunk - Drunking a Driver causes him to die.

Clockmaker changed. I'm not sure what the clock starts at or how much the clock goes up when mafia/town/3rd is killed, but this is the last I've heard from Cub:

- Clock starts at 4 and goes up 1 hour each night
- May choose one victim each night to add their time to the clock
- Killing a villager adds 1 hour
- Killing a mafia adds 2 hours
- Killing a third party adds 4 hours
- Gains an extra life when the clock hits 8
- Wins if the clock hits 12, dies if it goes over
- Wins if one of the last two alive
