the title is a work-in-progress because idk.
Anyways! At 8:30 PM EST on Friday, November 18, 2016, I will be hosting the first actual game of a new format, King of the Lobby, based on the TBS show King of the Nerds.
For those of you unfamiliar with the format, here's the gist of it:
- Two teams are formed at the beginning of the competition.
- Each day, they compete in a competition, and the team that wins that will be immune from elimination.
- The losing team will then vote someone to be put up for elimination. If there is a tie, then there will be a revote. If there is still a tie, then a randomly selected player will be put up instead.
- The winning team will choose another person to compete against that person in a duel. If there is a tie, then the losing team's nominee will get to choose out of those involved in the tie to compete against. The winner of the duel will stay in the game.
- Eventually, the teams will dissolve and everyone will be on their own. The winner of the individual challenge will be able to cast a sole vote and put someone up for elimination after the remaining contestants vote among themselves. If there a tie, the winner of the individual challenge will decide between those involved.
- Those eliminated after the team dissolve will be apart of the jury that decides the winner.
Anyways, this game has the potential to be extremely interesting strategically, with cross-team alliances and whatnot, so just comment below if you're interested in playing / have any questions. Looking for fifteen people, maybe? shrug we'll see
