Honestly even if Trump were to win, his extreme ideas will never go through the legislative branch. Even if he builds the wall, it doesn't stop immigrants coming from boats and flying by airplane which is much more common than by land.

So pretty much, if you're against Trump's ideas, you shouldn't worry too much as the power doesn't fully reside in the president. Let's thank Europe's monarchy for the reason why we have three branches to govern one another through checks and balances.
