i don't think ford survives that. he was always very proud of being human, and though he did envy the hosts, it was always clear that he enjoyed having control over them. you could say it was the very thing that made him human. i think he would not make a host out of himself, because how could he trust that the body was secure, that he had self-control, etc.
truly an amazing finale to a fantastic show, btw

robert built a host version of himself to get killed by dolores so that he could deny any culpability in plotting against the shareholders. it was foreshadowed during theresa cullen's death scene.
oooohhhhhh
i did wonder whose body was being created during theresa's death scene, at first i assumed he was making a host of her, but obviously that didn't happen, so wow that's a really interesting thought!!!!!

EDIT...
i think. haven't read into it. if they performed an autopsy they'd figure it out pretty quickly but who knows?

the series will definitely have a second season - they left it open for maeve's character to continue etc.
i had read fan theories about
the different timelines, and also the man in black being william
, so that didn't surprise me, though it was all put together really nicely.
anthony hopkins' involvement though was a nice twist
loved anthony hopkins char in this. ever since the beginning, i had a feeling it was going this way. how it got there was the exciting part. also the plot twist with ed harris - very well executed imo. there are hints of it early on in the show.
i hope this is a one-off series, because it really doesnt need a sequel imo.

so pretty much
theresa is gonna be made into a host by alfred and he will then control all her moves? that was such a wild ending
I've got some theories as well, especially about Anthony Hopkins' involvement etc
man i have an idea but i dont want to ruin anyone else coming up with it themselves... you know what i'm talking about? hah
not a spoiler

i feel like chris hemsworth's character is going to come into play at some point, he's been pretty inconsequential so far, so i feel like something is gonna be brewing for him
