SELFIE : A picture in which YOU are the main subject of the photo. These do not include other pictures of other subjects that you have personally taken, screenshots, or any other subject. If YOU are not the main subject of the photo, it isn't a Selfie. We also ask that you please try to avoid sharing pics that include someone else's face. (If you need help blurring out someone's face, contact GrandPriest)
There are 2 ways to share pictures in the public chat rooms: Uploads and Linked pictures.
UPLOAD : Using the upload icon to the left of where you normally enter text. These pictures are uploaded to the discord server and always displayed inline, in the chat, for all to see. These are for: - SELFIES - A full-size version of your profile picture (avatar) when requested. - Official CoC Posters.
LINKED : Copying the URL of an image and pasting that URL where you normally enter text. These show up as blue links in the chat that any user can click on, if they want, to view. These are for: - Any other kind of image you wish to share with the group.
NOTE: Chat members who are in the following member groups, Supporters, Moderators, & Clergy, have been given a special permission that allows their LINKED images to be previewed (embedded) inline in the chat. This is a special permission given to them as a way of saying Thank You for their service and regular contributions to the CoC.
