Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

Your forbidden action is: Using pictures or gifs in any of your posts

YOU CANNOT SHARE THIS FORBIDDEN ACTION WITH ANYONE

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Each night, one of you or your partners may perform the factional kill. You may kill and perform your role action during the same night.

You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same)

III. The Rules:

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

how do i have delusional tunnel vision when im telling you and telling town every step of the way of how im reading you as scum while you're the one sitting there going "well he posted modkilled and i just think thats really really scummy"


I seriously don't understand what this means. I've been explaining it over and over. Is your forbidden action "listening to logic" or something?

And then there's like, everything on top of that. The fact that your case on me has been so all over the place and, from my perspective at the very least, really without any good basis. The only point I've seen from you that I can see as something a townie would think in this scenario is my sparseness/mechposting. But you're other stuff just feels really forced like you're making big reaches you don't actually believe in to maintain having a developing case on me.

I mean, I do see your point. But even then, I can see it being something of an unconscious tell. When I first read Impoetic's post, the way you spun it never occurred to me. I think the fact that you read that and thought "maybe she could be modkilled for this" is telling because I know I would be way more inclined to be looking for that stuff as scum.

I don't like the way you ask for towns opinion on me when im your hard scum read. if im your hard scum read then back it up with something while asking the question so you can actually reevaluate your read on me, or have somebody agree with you on why im scum. seems more like you're trying to get somebody else to make up reasons for you why im scum

I mean, at the end of the day, you're right that I was mechposting and being relatively sparse otherwise early in the game. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that's definitely not a scumtell, because it can be. All I can do is give my honest explanation for what I did.

The other stuff you're saying is wild though and the way you're forming your arguments seriously looks to me like you're just throwing stuff out and seeing what sticks. But just like I recognize I'm a player that is really easily pocketed, I also recognize I tend to err towards OMGUSing. Which is why I'm asking for other people to explain why they don't want to lynch you.

btw, if you want me to use some of your words. you just said posting about mechs was more scumlike and you admit to actually posting about mechs but its okay because you were sidelining (actually not really a good case for you at all, tbh)

also, i bundled in the talk about jeff being banned on mafiascum being more of a mech talk because i felt it was more of a "you know you shouldnt be/can't really be doing this" than really a serious thought into his alignment
