If what Patryk says is all true, mimic is a wonderful role and should be played more :)
Most of mimic mechanics:
- mimic is a visiting role,
- all role actions are made by mimic'd town person before they turn blue,
- mimic on granny is immune to any kills,
- shrink/enforcer/surgeon on mimic will prevent mimic from converting, but mimic'd person turns blue if town,
- shrink/enforcer/surgeon on mimic'd person will cause that mimic will copy the role from mimic'd, the mimic'd won't lose the role,
- mimic target can be driven,
- mimic turns into amnesiac only if the target is hostile 3rd-party (mistletoe, werewolf, killer, etc.),
- mimic into non-hostile 3rd-party will have their win condition changed, they have reset prophet meeting, changed lyncher/angel target, etc.,
- mimic'd non-hostile 3rd-party will be turned into blue and play towards town win condition,
- no suit will cover mimic from learning the role of the target, so mimic can see himself as miller/loudmouth/insane cop, etc.,
- mimic on treestump will still get his role, however treestump won't be converted into blue if has become tree,
- mimic will be gunned/vested if receives a role which gets a gun/vest in the beginning without stealing items, but still can be killed at the same night despite getting BP role,
- mimic on people whose role action are made once in game and has already been used (angel, enchantress, governor, ghoul) will get another role action.
Tracker still gets report.
Can someone can test if tracker gets report the night they are mimicked? Or if they already know it, please post here.
