BLACKLIST FP, force people to play classic and g&h those setups will move players to comp bc theyre setups which require some skill and thinking. FP can be random because of the multi + NL d1 thing.
ban armed and vested from the lobby as well (you can unban it when sheriff decides to shoot d1 in every game and not NL, then blacklist it again cause it'd turn townsided).

Since xjuicy disagrees with the suggestion i am forced to agree with it. Why not take it one step further, and make a seperate lobby for gold hearts? We can call it the comp lobby and give red hearts back it's meaning!

because competitive takes the whole investigation? mods focus on competitive but theres people banned for cheating in red hearts. the proof theyre treated like crap is the ban for cheating in comp is higher than in red hearts, when cheating is cheating and knowing youre doing so.

people would play less because people wanna play competitive mafia. people take it more seriously. limiting the amount of comp won't make the red heart scene be taken significantly more serious.
One of your arguments for posponing gold hearts was that it's too much work for the mods, but now you want them to check red heart games seriously too?

Escurai, you can report in red hearts. the reason red hearts r not taken seriously is cause people dont care about them. moderators only really care about competitive and thats killing red hearts. refunds should be given for red hearts as they are meant to be competitive as well

They're meant to be, but they aren't. That's just how it is. How are you going to convince hundreds of users to put more effort into red hearts? Let's be honest, many of the people who play only red and not gold hearts are looking for a more relaxing time, if they wanted a competitive environment or to study the game more they would already be playing gold. Red hearts just provide an intermediate environment between unranked and gold.

anyways, arent competitive hearts meant to be 'red hearts with a trophy' anyways? its just that very new players arent allowed because they need to learn. thats the only difference

you dont find red hearts competitive 1. because fp is all over the first page and its stupid 2. you dont want them to be competitive. when joining a red heart i feel like you 'dont care' what the result is, you just play it cause youre bored. it should not be like this. you find comp games fun cause the playerbase for competitive is always the same because there are not enough players. spreading the competitive community to red hearts would encourage new playerbase to move to competitive slowly, but not stay there cause comp would b held once ev three months
This is just what happens when people take the game seriously, it's a side effect. The numerous people complaining about your idea should prove to you how much they value the mentality of gold heart games
But competitive games are overall more competitive regardless. You can say that people will be in red hearts if there are no Gold but that doesn't mean they will suddenly take red hearts more seriously. Give me a table of comp players in Gold hearts and the game is infinitely better than that exact same table playing in a red heart. People just don't play them the same and never will.

the effort that takes for moderators, the toxicity spread during every round and the hatred that all the 'competitive environment' brings to the site is not worth the attention we give to comp. there had to be some time during this site where comp didnt exist and people had fun in red hearts.

then dont play competitive, you can feel just as satisfied by winning some games in red hearts as well. my proudest victories are on red heart setups and if you dont find fun at winning its cause you dont enjoy the game anymore so you might as well leave. we've turned epicmafia ranked red hearts into crap just to focus on competitive.
youre not out of six months if you can still have fun playing red heart games in setups that are worth it
