BLACKLIST FP, force people to play classic and g&h those setups will move players to comp bc theyre setups which require some skill and thinking. FP can be random because of the multi + NL d1 thing.
ban armed and vested from the lobby as well (you can unban it when sheriff decides to shoot d1 in every game and not NL, then blacklist it again cause it'd turn townsided).

hey why dont you try this? itd be an experiment. you lose nothing for trying and if it ends up working itll be better. also, people usually say they dont like this or that without trying or knowing what itll be. dont mind negative opinions and give it a try, please. if it does not work perma ban me from main lobby, but experiment new things

Have cooler ideas where people get more trophies instead of less instead of stop doing the competition every week. Do some type of over arching thing where you have an ultimate competition that stretches over like 4 competitions and takes accumulative wins into account. Then they get a unique trophy and it would hold more value. Mostly because they played 4 straight rounds of competitive mafia.

chilledout i understand people wont plan their life around epicmafia,but anyways competitive players are p active so i dont think theres a wrong in making the competition once x 3month. and if thats a problem once a month is enough. there is no hype for rounds and trophies have lost value..

This is probably one of the worst ideas anyone has ever had, but I at least like the effort and passion.
Even only allowing competitive mafia once a month is not enough. A lot of the people who play competitive games only really like to play competitively. Disallowing them to play would just help to kill the competition even more.
Then, you say "Blacklist FP, classic blah blah blah" but that's even worse that the overall idea. Whether you like it or not, those are the most active setups on the website; some people only come to EpicMafia to lay back and play easy setups with their friends. They think it's fun. If you take that away from them, how upset do you think they would be? They would either A: do what you say is gonna happen or B: not play anymore. I think the latter is more likely to happen because harder setups are already more available to them. They choose the FP setups anyways. You'll only further kill the community of this website.
Also, as Jeff (I think) said before, people can't just write on their calendars "EpicMafia Comp starts August 26" and then completely clear their schedule to play. This game is dependent on free time. EpicMafia does not revolve around anyone's life, except for maybe someone like weirdo Sonrio,
