Round 446 cheating/throws.

Hello,

Considering the amount of throw this round has had its quite safe to say that it clearly disrupted plenty of runners. A few directly benefited from it and a few got completely crushed by it. Its very hard to blame a runner for this since the throwers actions has mostly been directly against a select few runners while some lucky and others were collateral damage or coincidentally benefited simply by being opposite alignmen

We will reach a conclusion this cycle, so the round will end one way or another within 15 hours.

What course of action should we take?

Reset the round.

Let the round end, only ban the GT alts.

Other.

Suspend elynia and then let the round end.

And finally, https://epicmafia.com/game/5350580 - In this game I'm on opposite sides of ely, I used my niller role to CC a PR and elyi believes me and votes my CC. I effectively use my niller role to make elyi lose. Even with both my partners trying to bus me into auto lose.

More importantly, unfeature VDLI which has been there at least one week prior and refeature BVI or regular BV.

That would be too harsh edark. Think about it before you set the precedence. Because none of those games were hard gt.

This is like Harvey dent in the dark knight. You need to keep this up in future to make it fair. This is a big leap.

If you guys reset the round, I'm pretty sure no one is going to be happy with the setups anymore. Not only that, most of the players probably will not even try and/or half-as their games, invalidating the round anyways.

Personally, I'd let this one go and just ban the GT alts.

Oh wow, you made a huge mistake trying to paint me as a GT and even lying about how I played these games.

Rutab captured our dilemma pretty well in his post. I still think a round reset would be the fair thing to do considering the throwing that did happen but everyone is pretty sick of this round. We'll admit in terms of cheating investigations, we could have improved the organisation and that would have prevented the round from being paused so long? Sorry.

Basically do you pull the handle and switch track B and kill 4 people or do you not pull the handle at all and allow 1 person to die on track A

We can refund those games of voidzz and potted and give them another chance if mods are sure the games were thrown.

Instead of suspending anyone, we can refund the questionable games and let them replay it.

Every GT account will be reviewed and get a fitting punishment depending on the amount of games thrown. They will also be forced to out their mains if they are suspicious enough.

Also yeah I feel like everyone is super tired of this round and kinda deserves an end ASAP but at the same time if you don't suspend those affected and only ban the GT alts, the throwers kinda got what they wanted

Also lack of coordination regarding the new rolemod team from my part made a bit messy since I pulled the trigger before everything was outted. My bad on that one.

I am very impressed by the kind of work done, you guys have managed to spot all the troll and GT accounts in comp lobby this time, but the evidence that it is linked to elyina is still circumstantial as pottedstuff didnt play his last 7 hearts before midnight EST so even if he won all of them and came 3rd it would not make any difference, Feels bad for Verybest, he was so close to trophy but choked to GT accounts, jerk and jews which came out of no where. just ban all of these shady accounts.

I have faced straight up GRS, GT trolling from many shady accounts, There are many, many straight examples I can give you out of my losses this round.

This is a really hard decision for edark, because it sets a very bad precedence. He has the dilemma to let go off a runner who he thinks is not legit, while keeping things in control, or suspending her by setting a very harsh precedence. Because in future if someone doesnt do this kind of investigation, then a non legit runner will win and it will not be fair.

I think we should support edark in this decision and let him take a judgement call.

Or may be edark can try and find a way to keep everyone happy. That would be very difficult, but with help of everybody, we can come up with something.

The compromise would be to reset the round, but no one would actually be happy then.
