i recently attempted to invite Associate to my family (he has the sufficient number of points and i've invited him to previous families) and it just doesn't go through or something?

i tried to invite several times and it had the red flag at the top of the screen saying i invited him but when i visited my family page it didn't have a pending invite. i then made nepenthe the leader of my family and they tried to invite him also and it did not work, nor did anything happen when i was made leader again
