i miss bronto (if he did anything problematic while i was gone PLEASE don't tell me)
- some people i fought very hard to keep out of modding: bdog1321 (or whatever, i dont remember his name anymore), arcbell, eris, pereking, krystalk, charley, ark, poser. im sure there were more but these are the ones i remember most. overarchingly it was because they were consistently terrible and untrustworthy in some way. i was mostly successful, i think the only ones who slipped through were pereking, arcbell, and eris
- one day, with zero prompting, ark sent me a message demanding to know why hardblocked him as a mod, and saying that someone (meaning harry) told him i accused him of saying the n-word. by the time i saw the message, i hadnt been on the site for a full year and had no idea what he was talking about. after some digging, i learned that he thinks that im the one who started spreading that around. i am not. the person who started spreading that was slow. i did reassert it because i knew it was true, but slow was the one who told everyone and made sure it was known. all i can guess is that harry accused me of doing it because he is terrible
- speaking of which, harry was definitely my least favorite person to mod with. when he came on under togepi (or maybe shacky?), he immediately started causing problems, making arguments, and generally being a nuisance. mod chat became Togepi & Hima VS Harry on the daily. it got so bad that togepi and harry wouldnt even speak to one another sometimes, and i had to mediate between them. it was a lot
- under vancy, satan got a harassment vio that us mods mostly agreed was fair. i ruled on it because it was in sandbox, and if im remembering right, it was harassment 2nd, which meant a ban. not long after i did so, vancy decided to admin ot it to no vio, because satan was his friend. slow, who was a mod at the time, was furious and let vancy have it. that admin abuse was the first in a long line of vancys screw ups, and led to the great slow vs. vancy battle of 2014
- yall knew this, but almost every shadow ban in sandbox was done by me. especially if it was meetterry or one of his friends, or some banned user (usually eris, abc, cory, etc). they got away with HC all the time bc the other mods either didnt care about sandbox & would no vio everything, or they supported terry and the gang and would no vio him if someone filed a report. i had to take matters into my own hands and i regret nothing!
- i constantly leaked mod chat to my friends, but mostly only the funny, irrelevant stuff. whenever some wild happened, i made sure they all got to bask in it with me. special mention to the time jeff accused annajane of account sharing with roshiez (which she was) and she flipped in chat. i still have a screenshot from it
- i was a mod for almost two full years (and yes i know i did it for free. ya dont have to tell me!) i modded under bronto, vancy, jasper, bell, togepi, shacky, and solace (tho i might be forgetting someone). bronto was easily my favorite admin, he was a really cool dude and was generally helpful. conversely, solace was the worst. absolutely useless AND a bad person on top of it. he was the direct reason why i stopped modding, i couldnt take dealing with him any longer
- i used to love bell as a person, but she was a horrible admin. she was so loath to actually assert her opinion that she basically let mods do whatever they wanted, even if it meant that people were getting away with doing horrible stuff. pereking in particular sticks out in my head as the main source of this. lots of unfair no vios on HC and the like during this time, as well as lots of cheating and mod leaks. working under her was the immediate reason why i started shadow-banning people, because otherwise people would get away with all kinds of terrible stuff
I hammered Gerry on one of his final games for this same reason during one of his trophy runs lmao he got super upset and sent me a message saying not to join his games if I'm gonna be throwing against him
I strongly doubt this, even though the proof is long gone.
Dr. Jack sent me screenshots of an MSN chat where you accidentally shared that you were the janitor during a game of Jan 2.0. We looked at the other players in the game and PoE'd the intended recipient down to Iphigenia. He sent me it shortly after the game had concluded, and I doubt he went to all of that trouble just for something we kept to ourselves for ~4 years.
