I know I said I'm leaving this site but all of my friends are asleep and I really have nobody to turn to.
My friend is cutting and he keeps saying he is going to kill himself in the next day or two. What should I do? For reasons I don't want to dive into, I am somewhat responsible for his depression and recent downturn so he does not want to listen to me, but I worry he is going to kill himself if I don't say anything.
I don't think the police are going to do anything if you can't get his address. Worth a try though. If they can they'll sent a patrol to his house and check up on his wellbeing, if they see the cutting and think there's a risk they'll likely take action.

Seriously though, if he has a plan and he set a time to do it, then u should just do what nicole and forrest said. even if you dont know his address, if you have his full name or some information, that could help.

Trust me on this here, I work overnights and call my local police station probably once every 2 weeks and have dealt with them many times. They're extremely helpful and can at the very least put you in contact with someone that can help you help him more than we ever can
But I know (or I'm somewhat sure) he won't do it tonight and if his parents don't give a then it won't do any good

Google "county-you-live-in police station" find their number, call them up and explain the situation to them, they can put you in touch with people that can help or find someone that can assist him.
Your local cops aren't the equivalent of calling 911.
its a really fking terrible situation, I feel like if I don't do anything he is going to do it. I'm staying on a skype call with him for tonight to make sure he doesnt take a turn for the worse but outside of that idk if there's anythign I can do
do you have his phone number? if so you can google his number or just get in the general area. Police can usually ping cell towers and find his location/
I don't know his address and if I ask he is going to know what I am trying to do

>This is the most important part
The following questions can help you assess the immediate risk for suicide:
Does he have suicide plan? (PLAN) Does he have what he needs to carry out your plan (pills, gun, etc.)? (MEANS) Do you know when he would do it? (TIME SET) Does he intend to commit suicide? (INTENTION) If a suicide attempt seems imminent, call a local crisis center, dial 911, or take the person to an emergency room. Remove guns, drugs, knives, and other potentially lethal objects from the vicinity but do not, under any circumstances, leave a suicidal person alone.
