Just watched:

21 Grams (2003)

Directed by: Alejandro González Iñárritu
Starring: Sean Penn, Naomi Watts, Benicio Del Toro
Genre: Drama
Thoughts: Really enjoyed this movie. A really dramatic, moving story told out of chronological order that's constantly engaging and intriguing thanks to incredible performances by all 3 main stars (especially Watts and Del Toro). While some may find the out of order storytelling a little unnecessary, I personally think it not only gave this movie a lot of character, but also really aided the audience's understanding and empathy with the characters through these seemingly random small events while trying to piece the whole puzzle together. It's not as ambitious as, say, Birdman or The Revenant, but it's a gem of an Iñárritu movie that managed to move me and keep me thinking afterwards. 8/10

hey debaser, I see that you have quite a bit going on with imdb but I'd still like to implore you to switch over to http://letterboxd.com/

Yo, is there a way to transfer data from IMDB/Criticker to Letterboxd? Everyone uses it but it would take forever to transfer my ratings manually ;__;

I'd love to chat movies with you as well sometime! Although are perusing your list I'm afraid the cross-section of our interests might not be too large, but I'd still love to try anyway

Good luck with your movies and keep updating the thread!

as soon as I get the time/patience, I'll make an account on this thing. I'd love to discuss movies nonetheless, I like to keep an open mind when it comes to what I watch

The Illusionist was one of my favourites so would definitely recommend it from that list. Same with Twelve Monkeys, surprised you haven't seen that.
