caroline vs Tiffiduliu

Approximately 8 days ago, Caroline wrongfully gave Tiffiduliu a 'Game throwing violation'

Tiffiduliu hipfired the Lawyer within 3 seconds of day start.

Apparently, Hipfiring the mafia correctly is Gamethrowing if you do it 3 seconds after gamestart, in carolines eyes.

But in my opinion, if you hipfire correctly then that is not gamethrowing. It is only gamethrowing if you hipfire wrongly. It only hurts town if you hipfire wrong.

Who is right, Caroline or Tiffiduliu?

Caroline I think you and your fellow moderators need to revise your rules to remove those who hipfire correctly from being punished.
that'd just create more incentive for people to hipfire. this isn't the first time hipfiring has been a hot-topic and it has always been treated as a GT vio in comp games.

But in this case, the person shot was not a PR. It's not about the what-ifs. The worst case scenario did not happen, did it?

Hey Betrayal. Hipfiring is shooting without reads. Tiff shot someone when it was impossible to have reads on anyone. Hipfiring in comp falls under gamethrow. It does not matter if she hip fired town or mafia. I hope that explains why they got the violation.
Yes but their actions actually helped the town. Shouldn't it be waived that they had no reads?

I've played competitive games where the Sheriff hipfired wrongly on Day 1 and no one reported it. Should they be punished too?
hipfiring should always be reported lol I don't get what's the deal with people shooting with no reads

Caroline I think you and your fellow moderators need to revise your rules to remove those who hipfire correctly from being punished. It doesn't make any difference whether they wait to get reads before shooting or whether they shoot a split second after daystart. IF they shoot mafia, then they are doing something right. It's not gamethrowing as long as mafia are down. Only if they misfire is it gamethrowing.

Just look at it differently, what if Tiffiduliu hipfired cop? He/She shot without any reads, the vio is well deserved. Tiffiduliu just got lucky.

yes so shooting the Lawyer on D1 is game throwing. I think the moderators need to revise their rules. Whoever created the rules was obviously drunk.

In my opinion Tiffiduliu should get a note since it's his first offense. Not a violation. He did a good deed to town in that game and a violation is very brutal.

I even asked in mod chat "is it game throwing to hipfire in a gold heart even if you hit Mafia" mods said yes. This has been discussed many times before. Doesn't matter if you hit Mafia or town you shot immediately without any kind of reads and that isn't playing towards your win condition no matter who you shoot
But caroline. From a logical person albeit what the rules or moderators say. How does it negatively hurt the TOWN if Sheriff hipfires the mafia D1. I think that rule should be removed, don't you agree or are you gonna really be illogical about this?

Caroline gave Tiffiduliu a violation because he hipfired the mafia within 3 seconds of game start. How is it against the rules to hipfire the mafia? How is this playing against town's win condition?
