lol you know there's a difference between disagreeing w someone's opinion and insulting them by insinuating that having that opinion makes them inferior to u
LMFAO sims that album is MEDIOCRE literally another miss by weezer. quit hopping on the bandwagon and then telling me you know music. this is meh at best and im actually surprised if anyone with actual "taste" would want to listen to it more than once.
dude stop pretending you write for pitchfork and get outside, crack open a beer and just enjoy the album for what it is instead of being bitter over what it's not
there's really nothing like this album. lo-fi and fuzzy it may be, but it's so densely layered and immaculately crafted that it really creates an unbelievably enveloping atmosphere. the lyricism is also very subtly moving, with imagery of nature painting the grand illustration that is this album.
in English tho it's a great lo-fi album with great songwriting and catchy yet moving tunes that I consider a masterpiece, check it out if you haven't
edit: it's the microphones' glow part 2 but I can't embed the pic for some reason
ftfy (have to upload pics to imgur etc and use that to embed to a post

best yes record, got it second hand for 10 quid and so chuffed. the title track is one of the finest in the genre.
nothing sounds like this album, as mind-blowing and unnerving today as it was 39 years ago. minimalist electronics that manage to be loud as hell. punk rock that doesn't sound like punk

it's an upbeat record with some typical rivers cuomo darker undertones. it's still weird for a 46 year old man to be singing about angsty relationships, but the music is actually good, i really like the lyrics, and pretty much all of the songs are worth a listen. i don't really skip around when i listen to it, and i normally do
some songs are also really beach boys-esque and it's a great sound imo
This is Fripp's greatest work. Cited as Kurt Cobain's main inspiration, this album is heavy but not overly so. Each song is quality except Providence which is weird. Fave song is One more red nightmare though Starless is a close second.
