A few times I had dreams,..I would stand up out of bed and would just fall against the wall, or back on my bed. I would lose control of my body and either start seizing or just not be able to move. I would ofc be freaked out and think I was overdosing or having a stroke. I would wake up not knowing if the dream happened or not.
Another dream that sticks out to me is a one where I was tortured. Me and a few friends were on this farmers land,..farming the land. The farmer was upset that we stole his land and turned into this mechanical death machine and killed my friends. He then took after me, and caught me. He stabbed me and cut off my limbs, but I wouldn't die. I began to beg him to kill me, and could tell he felt back that I wouldn't die. So he threw me into a wood-chipper type thing and I woke up. I had this other dream where two guys were driving me and my friend around town. I over heard they were going to kill us and then I seen my friend decapitated next to me. I grabbed the knife out of his head and stabbed the two people driving the car and then woke up.
The weirdest/most f'd up dream I ever had. I was in this weird , leaking hazy house. I seen a girl sitting on a tile floor cut up and bloody and crying, for whatever reason I her and left her on the ground dead. I returned to walking around the creepy house and kept seeing the dead girl walking behind me..and I was started to get creeped out. I was starting to run from her..I ran into a bathroom with the lights off, and the lights turned on and I was staring in a mirror and the reflection was that of the dead girl. Then i woke up.
I've had some pretty terrifying dreams. They way I would have to describe them is lucid nightmares. Coincidentally or not, my lucid dreaming started about the time I started abusing DXM and other psychedelic substances. I fondly recall knocking back some DXM and playing Battlefield 3, and then going to sleep but being able to play the game in my head...transitioning from awake to sleep, but being able to control everything that happened in visions while my eyes were closed...drifting off the sleep. This became a nightly thing,..would even happen even if I was not on drugs.
Oddly enough I used to be a big pothead, and can not recall a dream I head from age 15-20. I think weed messes with your REM sleep.
The lucid transition sleep ceased, probably about 2 years ago.
Back to the nightmares, these seemed to when I was drunk more often than not, but not always...these dreams were deeply disturbing and would leave me not wanting to fall back asleep,..they were so real.
The first one I can remember having went like this. I was asleep in bed, and I felt like there were people in my bed. I pulled the covers off my bed to get the people out, and then heard scratching at my door. It sounded like it was some type of animal maybe a cat?, and then a demon like voice whispered in my ear, "YOU are NOT dreaming." and I opened my eyes to find out I was not dreaming lol,..it was pretty scary.

lmfao, I once woke up in the middle of the night (and don't remember this btw) telling arcbell that in my dream Jesus said he could have the other half of me, then I apparently went back to sleep
uh, okay, well nobody should take benadryl if they want non-violent /weird dreams. the last time I did, there was a man who had no face and just gore and when he looked up to the ceiling a random axe went into his face. another time someones head was in a fence and obviously the rest of them was not. very fun.
other times: I slept with serious abdominal pain and was told after viewing apartments in my dream, by zombies, that I would die at 9pm. the next night I genuinely was in pain the same way and thought I would die. PS: I was 13
there are also the occasional "creepy" dreams where you know something happens relative to it shortly after.
edit: going through my logs and ctrl+fing "a dream" I am finding that a long time ago I once dreamt ucklar was remodded and I was upset
