if pranay established good will with most players and some form of rapport he would get away more with the unconventional things he does.

mafia has always been a social game at its heart and establishing working relationships with ur fellow players is the first step he needs to take to actually win as town lmao

the problem is he doesnt articulate why he does certain things to town.

it's easy as mafia because his partners are kinda forced into doing what he does or he threatens suboptimal behaviour but with town if he explained why he was doing certain things he'd win way more.

also there's nothing wrong with being super aggravating if it gets players to act the way you want them to, just that everything you do needs to be justified and cant just be an emotional whim lol

When itg321 and I flip town together we never lose if we win.

that's not a bad assessment. i think if he were to work on being more charismatic he would find it a lot easier to win as town. at the moment, he tries to make others look/feel stupid rather than himself look smart. objectively the two approaches accomplish the same thing but the latter alienates fewer people and makes them more willing to follow you.

also he's one of the few players i know who actually can think outside the box and finds creative ways to win.

a good analogy would be that pranay is a better version of xxerox

i think pranay actually really does know what's up, and knows how to use his notoriety to his advantage, the problem is that in doing so, he fails to realise how he isolates the town. that's why he has a consistently good scum win rate but can't win as town lmao

i think the person that made the post about this being a meta-gathering thread for pranay had the right idea. i don't think anyone can take him seriously when he himself posts a sub-50% town win rate across his three main accounts.

scumhunting advice from a guy that has 8000 games and still can't post more than a 50% win rate as town is something that i would take with a grain of salt if i were any of you guys. every time i play with him i am biased towards lynching him unconditionally because he tunnel visions so incredibly hard on every read out of that bucket list of his and never once considers that he could be wrong. i know he's going to respond to me with "pros cannot ever acknowledge the possibility of being wrong" but that is a false statement. everything he says betrays just how difficult it is for him to communicate meaningfully with other people.
