Things to discuss:
Setting

Plot

How you want your zombies (fast, slow, realistic)

More action or survival (Less food/water with less weapons. or maybe just tons of guns and loads of food)

Cool mechanics

well if you wanna stick with zombies ok. But at least make it kinda special. Let's say not mindless rotting zombies, but let's say a computer virus that can "hack" brains?

I do have ideas

Setting:

Futuristic setting. FLying cars. hoverboards (imagine a zombie chasing after you on a hover board). Hollograms, laser guns, etc.

Plot

too tired to think of one

How you want your zombies:

some slow some fast some relaistic. depends on what part of the brain was eaten. if it was all eaten then slow. if half eaten eg the right, then the left side would be dragging and slow, etc.

fast on hoverboards tho :P

More action or survival (Less food/water with less weapons. or maybe just tons of guns and loads of food)

um since its a world with advanced technology there should be more weapons and food/water shortage for humans forcing em to go out of their shelters to the danger zones to find food

Cool mechanics
laser guns

Herredy says

When the players become zombies, they become op

players become alpha zombies or hunter zombies.
Alphas can control mass groups of zombies while hunters are lone zombies that are unnaturally agile and strong.

We might just stick with zombies as its the best with the setting I have came up with

If you were not wanting zombies (not saying I won't do them) What would you have instead? I do have another idea though it might be a bit harder to pull off and get right.

I got a couple ideas, let me think about it

Dunno, just not zombies

What do you suggest as a swap then, Aliens ?

Tbh I think the idea that aladrew is has is great, but it shouldn't be zombies. A small trapped place, with scavenging and limited resources is a good idea. But zombies are kinda boring.

I was thinking of doing that, almost exactly. As i play a lot of dead of winter and once did a tabletop rpg just like that. I think it will be quite like that

ISamEI says

If we want to keep the world small, we could have a scenario where the x of us are trapped in a mansion, and have to decide who to send on missions scavenging for food, who protects each room, and which location to stay on.

Any world would benefit from a map to keep track of location, I feel.

and some of us have ulterior motives, like spreading the zombrosis
