Obama forcing schools to let trans people use the bathroom and LOCKER ROOMS of their self identified gender, less they stop getting funding.
Is the Obama administration over stepping boundaries?

Then understand that your opinion is not greater then actual scientific research, and you've literally just clicked on this thread to make an of yourself
lol ignorant because i don't share the same opinion. this is nothing like accepting gays or accepting blacks. this isn't the next big thing that you all think will be widely accepted. you'll get high ranking people in society playing along only because they'll get backlash if they don't. people aren't born in the wrong body, that's just not how it works. sorry.
Do you actually think they want to feel like that? or want to go through all of the sh*t society puts them through?
roadman and flea both held non-transphobic views that have legitimate concern about how allowing transgenders to use the bathrooms they prefer may raise concern. They've both brought legitimate arguments to the table and, to no offense justrec, but you've successfully ruined the thread through transphobic pandering and how you're scared of being ostracized for talking rudely about transgender people
do you think i care? lmao im not one of yall that takes this site seriously, im just here to give my opinion, not to look smart for yall, i could care less.

People believe they are born in the wrong body, though, and that is all that matters.
well im not denying that, that's waht the studies are showing, people strongly believing themselves that they were born in the wrong body, and since the people themselves believe it, science believes it. im not even anti transgender, i dont care if you want to switch genders, i just hold an opinion that you aren't born in the wrong body. that's nothing to attack people for and call them ignorant for.
No, science believes that it is not a choice for these people to believe they were born in the wrong body, because it is a belief induced biochemically.

You seem mad, it's no one else's job to lift you out of your own ignorance, you're a human being with access to the internet and the ability to execute simple searches at the very least without having to be spoon fed.
On the contrary, it is my job to lift everyone out of ignorance.
I'm pretty sure they were talking about justrec, but aight. You actually have a point with the things you're posting anyways

For the record, those are terrible studies to cite. Try something from a university.
fam plz it's just easier than searching through the Psychological Science journal it was originally published in and would be closer to justrec's reading comprehension level
"The study, led by psychological scientist Kristina Olson of the University of Washington"
Idk if I asked to see a scientific study and someone linked me a .com website I'd laugh at them and not read it.

i believe it is the job of the people who are bringing studies into the argument to give the studies they are talking about themselves, buddy. i don't give a sh** about those studies, but if you're dragging them into your argument, you better show your work if you want me to take it into account
Yes be my guest and continue to post things that are entirely inaccurate you're the one who ends up looking like an idiot in the end.
fk off, if you're trying to convince someone of something, you give the specific research you're referencing. that's how it works.
"oh but i wasn't trying to convince you", yeah you were, otherwise you wouldn't be replying to me arguing me. give me the stuffs, otherwise stop talking to me.

It's not like your ignorance is worth my time nor do I think continuing discourse with you will change anything but you and your attitude are a dying breed.
I present to you.... research. If this doesn't help you form a better argument I can only say that you obviously don't care for this topic and is just trolling

what did those studies do, ask some people some questions?
look, i don't believe somebody could be born in the wrong gender, people wanted to be a different gender so they became a different gender, whatever.
REGARDLESS if you disagree about that, you being born one gender, and CHOOSING to switch genders.. is a choice. *gasps*
Except they experience a biological predisposition to a desire to be the other gender, which is induced biochemically and not as a result of free will.
Look into taking sociology 101 next semester.

Yes actually doing research and educating yourself and not just making asinine statements regarding how studies you haven't read may have been conducted sure is conducive to developing informed opinions as a human being.

It must be pretty difficult to go to Google Scholar and search for some studies to answer your own questions here buddy.
