To be fair, he's from Ireland. Spastic is associated with 'spasticated', which basically means mentally ret*rded. He knows what he's saying, and the fact that he said it time and time again shows that he was being excessive.
Also @ the cover story thing. I'm p sure he would have said like, 'MrROB is handicapped' or even 'MrROB is challenged', or maybe thrown a 'mentally' in there for good measure if he had intent to offend in that manner.

No he didn't. He used that word because he can't say r----d. He couldn't use a hateful word so he used... a synonym of a hateful word instead to describe the players in his game as disabled EIGHT times.

devante, it's clear he's using the term handicap much like handicapping a team, handicapping yourself, as in the verb/noun handicap and not to describe a handicapped person
however, f-tarded clearly means r-tarded and calling someone a f-tard for being dumb is clearly also hc... except these mods clearly don't think so

I originally did give him the violation for that very reason, because I thought the same as you did, but after discussing it with giga and others on the mod team I realized that apparently it is a common expression that I hadn't been exposed to. Connor, who reported it, said he didn't believe there was a connection either.
He's explaining that it was playing with a handicap; having a team that were so awful in his eyes. Then he uses a word which he does not deem to be a slur. If he knew that the word was off-limits, he wouldn't have used it. There have been many cases where people have reported that word in particular in the past and not been given violations.

Then debunk my arguments rather than asking me to repeat them, because that is tedious.
i would explain why giga's is much more hateful comment than boodlers, but then that would just talk you guys into giving giga a violation which is the opposite of what i'm trying to accomplish
that was me late at night, trying to go to bed, now i've had 3 hours of sleep, 8 hour meeting & 1 hour at the gym so i'm ready to fully tackle this beast till i go out tonight
