At present, there are 20 moderators. Some follow precedent, some don't, but ultimately they all have their own benchmarks for what is or isn't acceptable. As a result, there are far too many flaws within the way this site is handled; from a sheer lack of understanding, to grudge driven decisions, to blindly sheeping one another upon request (this can be highlighted as my appeal has been hand-picked from the open reports and immediately sustained by Totori).
I was going to write up a large OP about this, but quite frankly I'd only be wasting my breath.
Bottom line is quite simply this - a 20 man weeb squad isn't going to bode well when it comes to website moderation.
Would someone be a doll and tl;dr this thread for me?
tl;dr - these nggas are all crazy

Vancy vs Sonseray.
Round 1
This is actually round 20, and it's 20-0 my favor. I just refrain from attacking him until he makes a post about how he wants to go back to ruining the game more than anyone in the history of this website.
As long as he doesn't ruin the game anymore, IDC if he wants to make posts about the terrible music he listens to and pretend he's a well-liked guy on the internet. As long as he isn't trying to ruin the game, I'll just ignore him.

In 20 years my kids will ask me "where were you during the great smack down Kylo laid upon poor Vancy?"
“Last year my notion of volunteering was leading a website full of unappreciative overdramatic teenagers,” Vancy said. “Now it’s helping kids with special needs at the local YMCA.”
But the administrator whose decision it was to permanently ban Eris from the site felt neither guilty nor responsible. Vancy, a blue-haired college student from Canada, had long seen the suicide coming. They had been Skype-chatting about Eris’s depression for months, like in this conversation on the morning of 25 October 2014:
Vancy: Are you okay? Eris: I am not Eris: okay Eris: I am Eris: rather suicidal today Vancy: What’s wrong? Vancy: ah Eris: and this site Eris: isn’t helping me Eris: at all
Eris told Vancy that he had been taking antidepressants for years, switching from Prozac to Welbutrin, but the drugs left him numb, and though drawn to the idea of therapy, Eris was too much of a cynic to believe it would do him much good. “Like I remember I actually spoke to the psychologist my doctor recommended to me,” Eris wrote in a Skype chat with Vancy, “and I basically told him psychology is just like, witch doctory for westerners and I might as well go sacrifice a chicken or a goat and pray to the loas or something.”
“In a way,” Vancy said of Eris’s death, “I thought he might finally be at peace.”
Personally, I think that Vancyon's perspective is disgusting. He's letting cheaters trophy while he circlejerks with his weird fking e-friends but he seems totally cool with Eris offing himself.
oh i see what you're saying, i think your personal dislike for him helped you find reasons to find him disgusting for it though. i don't know how the rest of that conversation went but
“In a way,” Vancy said of Eris’s death, “I thought he might finally be at peace.”
imo, i think if you also used this quote to further your thought that he didnt really care about what happened to eris, its kinda hard to say something about someone that has committed suicide
also, you're going to find a lot of people "disgusting" to you throughout your life, it doesn't mean you have to call them out on it though

Say what you will about the current mod team but Vancyon's admin administration literally knowingly let cheaters trophy in order to not have to deal with the forum drama
Whereas the current mod team just caught all 3 cheaters in one round, so props where props are due.

I never anything but a good friend to you so I don't know why you don't just let bygones be bygones, 'pal.
"I don't understand why you are upset, I even tried to let you cheat at the game I admined"

Things I like:
The game of mafia
Things I hate:
Epicmafia.
It's a conundrum, alright.
mafiascum?
Actually I hate forum mafia too, I don't have the patience.

Imagine if this website were full of people who actually wanted to play mafia instead of social rejects trying to make friends the only way they've ever known how.

Epicmafia would be literally great if it weren't for people like Vancyon, who are an absolute tumor on the game itself and always have been but who still consider themselves a pillar of the Rocky Picture Horror Show Reject Culture of this website.
If you guys really like Vancyon though, go read the interview he gave with theguardian. Even if you don't think he's a pathetic loser (I sure do) the disgusting things he says in that interview will probably change your opinion of him.
