We live in a world were people trust the media so much, that the media controls how those people vote or think simply by telling people what they want them to think, even if it isn't true, and everyone believes this this is a democracy still even though if you try to take any legal measures against fake information made by any news station, you would soon find out that not only will "They" legally attack you if you made a news station, but, "You" can't attack them legally.
We live in a world were people who defend their own land from foreign investors that are trying to make a corporate take over of some one else's property, are called terrorist for doing so. We humans have been doing this for the whole six thousand years of known human history.
When someone has a revolutionary idea, like workers unions, government offices that make society more secure from social decay at the cost of the power of single individuals and interest groups, or a way to educate everyone on the status of the world so that they can make better choices and help the bigger picture overall or that can make every persons life easier, some of them get assassinated and others take credit for their work instead.
Most of the things we have today like electricity, we ignore the name of Tesla for the alternating current; Things like who discovered America, totally not the Native Americans that came about two thousand or more years before; Things like economics study and a lot of research, lets ignore how they used and taught all these things in the Arabian Empire which still exist in pieces and is constantly under attack from every way possible.
