Ngl I was sad about theon and jorah but it was okay fitting... BUT, the GOT we know and loved, is falling threw the cracks with this shit writing. Do we ask ourselves, is it the fault of D&D, or do we blame GRRM aswell? Cause as much as we want to hope the books will be better, I'm sure there's some sort of direction that GRRM gave in accordance to him not finishing whilst this series has ended. And I'm just stuck wondering why this has gone to complete rubbish and who is to blame here
Also, am I the only one that thought Rhaegal going down was a whole dream and laughed at disbelief when it happened lmao
Good lord can we please have humble pie the last two episodes
The writing this season has been unacceptably poor, there are far too many instances that characters go against their previous seven seasons of development and I understand they're forced to rush things because of a 6 episode final season, but the show writers told the studio they didn't need another two seasons (meaning this + another) which means they have to carry all the blame. Why didn't Cersei just order her archers to shoot Tyrion if she was going to kill missandei anyway? She had no problem blowing a sept up but apparently the treasonous little brother putting himself in the open is too much for her heart to handle? how did danys dragons not see Eurons ships in broad daylight hundreds of feet in the air? How did Euron manage to aim the scorpion arrow right at Rhaegal's (spell check?) neck, but 20+ couldn't hit Dany flying right at them? Why didn't they show us Sansa + Arya reacting to Jons news? WHY DIDN'T HE PET GHOST? YALL REALLY CHEAPING OUT ON THE BUDGET NOW? AFTER YOU HAD A POINTLESS DANI+JON ROMANTIC DRAGON FLYING DATE? it's just laughable how many head scratching moments there are in each episode, i have no faith in the writers giving us a satisfying or believable ending
im becoming very disappointed with how rushed and poorly executed this season is. theyre butchering a show that was amazing. they have a lot of errors, making characters go out of character.
