Hello everyone! EM Idol is back yet again! (ooooooh, ahhhh)

SEASON 5 IS OVER

EpicMafia Idol 5 Final Results:

Well it has finally ended, the results are in and we have determined the winner of EpicMafia Idol 5!! I would like to thank all the partcipants and on-lookers of the competition, I hope you all enjoyed the experience and gained something from it. I would of course like to thank the judges who have been awesome enough to pick up after me even as I slacked this season and for noticing all the little mistakes I leave behind each round (looking at you Malkon).

This will indeed be the final EMI hosted by me and also the last being judged by some of the veteran judges, notably Kam who has stuck with me as the judge the longest and would like to thank her for her service and putting up with me all this time. This will indeed be taken over by new management.

Now without a further ado, the results:

Congratulations to Reamix!!! From finishing fourth last season to making it all the way to first, it's been a pleasure having you compete and our honour to award you with this trophy (as seen in the doc)

ROUND FORMAT

If this is your first time participating/following EMI, please read the rules provided in the "links" section and want to know how the season and the rounds will go, here is the basic info you need to know

After the audition round is over, the first round of EMI will start with a theme the judges have chosen. Themes after round 1 will then de determined by the round winners. Round winners are those that get the highest score of the round.

Each round people will submit their entries that follow the current theme, once all submissions have been obtained and judged (Judges are usually given about 2 days to judge), the results will be released in a Google spreadsheet (the link will be provided below when it is ready). Once that happens, the round winner will pick the theme, and the new round will start. Please keep checking back here to know the theme/start of next round.

After a few days after the results are posted, the access to the results will be made private so the judges can start editing it again and judge entries submitted. If you are a contestant and missed your comments, PM me and I'll c/p them to you

There are no excuses period for your actions or your behavior. Your or anyone else's dismissal will be no one else's fault but your own. Anon's don't get auto eliminated but contestants do. If you have a problem with that you can leave.

With that being said Congrats to all that made it to round 4. Be prepared for this weeks twist!

But like I said contestants are anon unless they decide to talk which as far as I know, no one has besides me.

Yeah he's been late every single time after the entry round.

Well I feel like I'll get eliminated this round because rock is not my style *coughs* but id like to read the feedback anyway. Since I love the song :3 it's got a reallyyyyyyyyy big range though

At this point the only person auto elim was Kenny, but he knew that and made the choice to be elim. You will get the results when we are done judging.

And my letty checked it too. I wasn't expecting him to. I never asked him. But he told me that apparently I was auto eliminated for being late. It's not just the contestants who check the sheet. Letty isn't a contestant but you can't eliminate me for something someone else did either

So it was you I thought so when I saw a visit on my profile.
I went on earlier and you guys hadn't started judging. When I went on there were the recordings for the ones in the forum. It was 3 hours after I had submitted mine but there were entries from an hour ago but mine wasn't there. None of the judges were there so I went on after to ask a judge.

I was worried that maybe my recording didn't send because I was in such a hurry when I sent it that I forgot to put the name of the song. Epicmafia was blocked skype was blocked ( don't even have you guys) I didn't know your emails. Even the site I used to upload was blockeD

@Raven I personally sent a carrier pigeon. It is estimated to arrive on USA postal service in 2 years time with a possibility of 3 if it gets lost.

I will await your answer in 6-7 years from now.

Round of Applause for Kam! She's a very hard worker and very dedicated person to the fullest. She's so kind and sweet and open minded and I truly am thankful for knowing her. Kam has a very bright future ahead of her. I hope you have all listened and continue to listen to her critiques in past and current EMI comps and flourish as singers. Kam herself as a lovely set of pipes on her and has shown her talent when she competed and her guest entries as a judge. She as also shared her huge knowledge to myself as a former as an EMI alumni and current judge this season. I appreciate and wish you all the best in your future (because I can see it ala raven). I thank you so much for all that you do!

Guys-I was incredibly frustrated this morning. I work a full time job and use my little spare time to try to judge this fun competition. When you complain about things that aren't finalized it just really frustrates me because it just feels like I'm wasting my time. When you realized the doc was open you should have contacted one of the judges instead of throwing hissy fits. I have both competed in this comp and judged for multiple seasons. So I know the time commitment it takes for both sides of the comp. Trust me, judging takes way more time. Please be considerate and remember all of us have lives too and do this for FUN and also because we love singing, music, and competition.

On that note: I would like to announce my retirement as an EMI Judge, this season will be my last. Life has gotten too complicated, and it is time to move on. Love y'all though. I would have never thought this competition would last as long as it has and been such a big part of my life. I've met some really amazing people from it <3

Woops! Sorry about that guys! My bad for not putting it as private then it should've been. What you guys saw is definitely not set in stone and it's part of the reason why we do keep it private since whatever happens is not finalized until we actually release it to you guys!

Again sorry for the little mishap, the judges were doing things well, I wans't. Hope you liked the EM Idol: Special Backstage Edition while it lasted

Y'all only Luis has the power to make it private and he hasn't been on. STAY OFF THE PAGE because all you are doing is pissing us off. ESPECIALLY CIRNO- you didn't send me your recording so I put you as eliminated. the doc isn't finalized if you have submitted to Luis then you aren't auto Elim. This is our process which y'all aren't supposed to be looking at. So don't about stuff you don't understand and wait for it to be posted in a few days. If we catch you on the page again you will be AUTO ELIM

Lol I'm still angry about that auto elim even though I submitted 10 hours before deadline.
A judge told me to leave the Google sheets. I was only on to make sure mine was there so I asked the judge...

Besides please make it private if the contestants arent allowed to be viewing the sheet. You guys don't even know who is viewing the sheet unless they actually talk in chat. As far as I'm concerned im the only person out of the contestants who has done that
