I was just wondering. Because it seems many people call people bad because they mishammered when they were clears, but what's the difference between a good player, an average one and someone like basiik?
This is a legit question because it looks like only the hammer matters when it's not only about being right or wrong. To prove my point: A is fosing B and D. But he doesn't tell people why they are mafias and keep spamming "Lynch them, they are mafias."
B and D are indeed mafias.
E is fosing B because B is scumtelling, he's explaining that B is mafia for good reasons. Unfortunately he's fosing A because A is doing nothing but spamming. He doesn't scumread D because he's towntelling for real.
C is clear. He hammers B then C dies. It ends to A's lynch.
Who's the best player? A because he was right? C because he hammered right? D because he towntold really hard? or E because he had a really good reasoning and tried to concince for his win condition?
Imo E & D are better than A because of his lack of explanation and he was towntelling enough, D is maybe the best player right here. What do you think?
This makes me think about another question. People judge players on their town abilities but what about maf ones? Is it harder to be a good town or a good mafia? Is a good town player better than a good mafia player? I honestly think there are really good mafia players here and they win because they are good at it, thus town can lose because, well, they were outplayed. It happens 5% of the time but still, it happens.
Have a nice day.
