Popcorn mafia is a 9-player setup revolving around a clear with a gun (chosen first by the mafia during n0). The person with the gun acts as a dayvig for the remainder of the day. If the gunbearer shoots correctly, he keeps the gun and is allowed to shoot again, if not, he dies and the person he shot will get the gun. This goes on until all mafia are eliminated or mafia has majority. There will be no night phase aside from n0, along with no votecount/standard lynching.

Days will typically last 48 hours. If the gunbearer does not shoot by the time deadline is up, he will be modkilled and the gun will go to someone else.
Dad is trollish, but he did justify the read on Anthony when he outed it.
Anthony outed two reads, both of which were less thorough (because they were given at daystart) than dad's read on anthony, and both of anthony's scumreads are now revealed townies. In fact, the reason behind his read on devin was given after being questioned (iirc), and his explanation was something along the lines of, "All his posts felt fake and his reaction to being scumread wasn't great."
I'm mostly nitpicking, but -- as evidenced by FM12 -- participation doesn't automatically equate to alignment, especially when that participation is more self-defense and/or discussing mechanics and saying agreeable things than it is contributing to the scumhunt.
(This isn't an SR on Anthony, FTR; I'm solely responding to ice's post. I don't really have a full stance on the game at the moment, but I can try to organize my reads and post them if specifically requested.)
What makes you think PODRACING is town when they've given no content whatsoever? It's not like either ice or anthony have confirmed themselves here, and I don't think I've done anything that you should be townreading either.
that said I am okay with an ice shot rn. They have made several posts and none of them have seemed towny to me, with their only read a TR (and an odd one at that, considering last game they TR'd people for effort alone as town and paid the price...) and the other posts basically amounting to filler.
I'm surprised they aren't defending themselves if they're mafia, though. Your confidence in early reads is off-putting.
But the 4v1 ML is the same ML as we have now. If you lynch mafia on a ml, you always have that ml the next day (not taking into account power roles that could change it were we in such a setup).
Whatever. We're arguing over semantics. Yes, we will have two MLs if we shoot mafia today; if we shoot mafia on LYLO, we will also gain a ML (that we didn't have before).

who is shmeur and are you implying you're unlikable or that you're mafia? Because I can't imagine you'd be certain you won't get shot before LYLO as town. :P

We will always have one clear. It is still possible for mafia to win, although this does seem like it ought to be town-sided. We're already on our last ML without shooting mafia, though...
edit: Ice has been talking about mechs consistently in every single one of their posts and I would probably be okay with an Ice shot.
Also, PODRACING hasn't returned since the beginning of Hibiki's reign when they were being a boring troll. :\
