36 hours per day, 12 hours per night. Days may end early if a majority lynch is reached.
II. The Setup:
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below. Any role can be town or mafia, and have any number of affixes.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia always leads the kill, and it's always the one that submits the kill last. Each mafia will visit the kill target.
On death, players flip their role, alignment and affix type by default, but not their affix details.
III. Supermajority Lynch Rules:
A lynch will happen immediately if a supermajority vote is reached (e.g. 9/16)
At end of day, "No votes" count as "no one" votes, but will not count towards a mid-day supermajority vote of "no one". The player with the most votes at that end of day, (including "no one") will be lynched.
Days can be ended early without a lynch by a supermajority "no one" vote.
well gerry i have as inactive town because imho there is no way gerry would ever be this passive as maf: he knows that people love to get him so i doubt he'd go out of his way to be easier to get
sincerely on you i think you're town because of you putting claire under a microscope during the great spam of a few pages ago, you'd think a mafia would stay back and spam along so as to get in town's pants
The whole "Use the ML on the ISP because we don't want them around in lylo" argument bugs me. By nature of being forum mafia, we can expect people who don't participate to be replaced with those who do. A failsafe for perpetual ISP already exists, we don't need to waste our lynches.
I have a feeling SirSlick wouldn't be consciously thinking these things as scum, even though he does seem to take a logical approach to things in-game as town. idk
(unlike me, because I was subtly pushing on UltraAug earlier too. ;) but in all sincerity I'm not voting him until I know who his fos was and why, nor do I really fos him upon scrutinizing his daystart)
Reasons scum will resort to pushing on the ISP d1: - No direct backlash. - Easy, built-in justification. - Don't have to read a bunch of lines in an effort to force an explanation. - When they do flip town, the flip generally gives town little nothing to work off in the following days.
Reasons town will resort to pushing on the ISP d1: - They're hopelessly lost and would rather throw darts than attempt to actually form reads and lynch who they believe is scum.
ah see my above post as you probably didn't when writing
but i'm not a pro lynch decider, but i don't want sincerely or gerry (hur we have foond thre maffi), and do not particularly want you, or trans, or claire, etc, either.
you feel?
surely it's a better option to get one of these guys now than have to get worried about them in a late game situation where they still haven't done anything and it could be mylo or lylo.
but like i said in my voting post if my strategy's horrendous i'll unvote, so it isn't a hard push or anything
What more do you need? You voted someone who has only made posts in the very beginning of the game; a stage in which reading into people's behavior is notoriously futile. What's more, your justification is "liability due to ISP".
That's a classic scum method of pushing a d1 lynch. It's easy, it doesn't require any close reading, you're not likely to get a bad reaction from the person you push purely by nature of them being AFK. It's like, the best possible push for anyone who is purely trying to survive and save their own partners d1 as well. The only flaw is it's prone to getting you called out if you're not subtle about it, like what I'm doing right now.
ah right so it's when there's no reads on anything and nobody knows what is happening, cheers.
don't see what's so maf-like about it though, it's optimal to lynch someone on a mislynch who hasn't done anything rather than a lynch of gerry (who i have as "inactive town) or sincerely (who i have as town)
Sincerely begs someone to scumtell. And as if in response, SirSlick storms the room and votes someone who has only spoken in RVS as a liability lynch. It's like our prayers have been answered. Ask and you shall receive, et cetera.
Gerry isn't even THAT scummy. We are not lynching GERRY D1 unless he's LITERALLY CONFIRMED MAFIA LIKE THE OTHER GAME WHEN HE TRIED TO FORCE NL AFTER CLAIMING BLUE, AND WAS CONFIRMED
